so I was trying on a shirt that I thought was really cute tonight, I had it on, looked in the mirror and had a small freak out.  I looked like Kitty Miller!  The shirt that ruffs and it was kind of silky.  I have the clothing taste as Kitty.  Than I started thinking, everyone makes fun of me because I have the art history 'knowledge' of Jacqui because I travel a lot and I have seen a lot of things that Jacqui talked about in class and I love tea like Jacqui.  Once in photography Kitty told me that we have the about the same art style (which I like not to believe) I am a Kitty/Jacqui combo.  That could be a scary thing for the world and the world of art.

what I did on my summer vacay

In case anyone was wondering, or if anyone cares, this is what I did over my summer.  comments are welcomed.

May/June were slow month(s), after finals I came back to Cedar Rapids for a couple days and than went back to Lamoni for graduation.  YAY for Jen, but it set in...that will be me next year and that feeling was a lot different from when that feeling came from graduation high school.  It makes me nervous, but extremely excited to see what will come.  I started my internship at the National Czech and Slovak Museum and Library (whoop whoop).  I had a fun time at the musuem and well if I felt old, I just thought about the museum and I felt better.  The docent are so old (minus me and the other two internship that I never met).  I am really happy that I did the internship and I got good information and things to think about for grad school.  Morgan graduated and now, I know no one at Jefferson (yay no more graduations!) and I loved that Morgan's speech with like the anti-high school gradution speech!  June was just slow.  Worked for the girl scouts again...hated it.  My boss was the big jerk.  than...

JULY!!  July was exciting.  I did a lot.  Along with musuem and work, I turned 21!!  For my birthday, we went to Olive Garden and there was a billon other birthday...haha.  I had wine and chocolate cake, which I thought was the best.  That Thursday after...I drove down to Warrensburg, MO to see a play about Iowa.  I went to visit Frank and see him and his plays, which I found the funniest, but the Music Man is about a town called River City, Iowa and that was the original name of Cedar Rapids.  HAHA, but I loved it minus the old lady behind me, the kid next to me, and the fact that I was HUNGRY!  There was also the Odd Couple, which I LOVE!!  I had seen this one time before (and Frank was Oscar), but I think this verison was ten times better.  The Felix was a lot better.  The drive back was a little different, but I got to see a different part of Missouri and that was okay with me.  The weekend after, my mom and I went to Minnepolis.  We went to the Walker Art Museum and I got to see an exhit about Diane Arbus, which I love her photography and I got inspired to keep making my photography and grow and work at it.  I liked all the other art, some "different", but all good.  We also went shopping at the Mall of American and went to the Minnesota Zoo.  It was so cool.  I love zoo.  The weekend after that...I went back to Missouri!  To Kansas City for Jama's wedding.  It was fun because I got to see people that I didn't see in a long time and Melissa (my date) and Dr. Glazer was at the wedding!  That was a busy month for me.  I learned that Guinness and Fish and Chips is amazing and that Guinness and cake...not so amazing.

August...we are still in August, but I have been finishing the internship, quit my job, and had been packing and getting excited for school.  Oh Graceland...I think I miss you.
